Enjoy a meal Dartmouth has a very wide selection of restaurants from the high end Seahorse to local fish and chips. There is more than enough choice to eat out at a different place every day for a month !

In Dartmouth, all within a 10-15 minute walk from your stay at Harbour Heights
• The Seahorse - Nationally award winning. High end, small and cosy seafood by Mitch Tonks. Stunning. Book it.
• Bayards Cove Inn - daytime coffee/lunch and great range of evening meals for all
• The Floating Bridge - a favourite of ours - great value, great portions, something for allthe family, sit outside and look down the river Dart
• The Seven Stars - the oldest pub in Dartmouth and a sister to the Floating Bridge and similar lovely menu
• The Yarn - cosy, character, and utterly fabulous breakfasts
• The Cherub - dating from 1360 it is the oldest building in Dartmouth. The Cherub "smokie" is awesome. A great winter pub for sure.
• Kendricks - an American diner style, popular with families
• The Royal Castle Hotel - full of historic character, the high end Grill Room, or bar menuare both excellent
• Dart Marina Hotel - A great formal hotel environment with high end menu
• Browns Bar & Hotel - super stylish modern Spanish menu
• Rockfish - Best UK Independent fish and chip restaurant - “tomorrows fish are still in the sea” - fish and chips par excellence
• The Dartmouth Arms - Pub on Bayard's Cove with good pub food.Take a drink outside
• The Steam Packet Inn - truly awesome and original flavour pizzas. Take lower ferry to Kingswear and enjoy
• Cafe Alf Fresco - a Guardian UK top 50 breakfasts venue - legendary breakfasts, bustling character, informal, special
• The Castle Tea Rooms - stunning location for a breakfast, coffee, cake or sandwich
• The Cornish Bakery - for tasty Cornish Pasty’s - we love the Thai Chicken pasty
• Taylor’s Restaurant - a high end menu and location with a superb reputation locally - a small restaurant of real quality overlooking the boatfloat
• Anzac Street Bistro - a European and Mediterranean menu, a character restaurant with a mid-high price menu
• The Ship Inn - located in Kingswear take the Lower Ferry, a new and revised menu now available
• The Start Bay Inn - just a short drive to Torcross, another place with famously great fish and chips in a superb location at Slapton Sands
• The Fizz Boat - awesome Fizz and Food cruises on the River Dart. Tailored to you.
• The Picnic Boat - get out on the water and celebrate on the Picnic Boat. Unique.
Around and about, a short drive or boat trip away from Dartmouth town centre
• South Sands Hotel, Salcombe - on the beach, a gorgeous, quality restaurant. One of our favourites. Book it.
• The Beach House, South Milton - informal, lots of fish, character beach hut and on the beach
• Anchorstone Cafe, Dittisham - stunning riverside location, one of our favourites. Perhaps a 3 mile walk along river and a river taxi back. 12-4pm
• The Laughing Monk, Strete - has outstanding reputation and a fabulous quality menu. Close by
• Winking Prawn - on North Sands in Salcombe. BBQ or restaurant. Breakfasts too. An informal bustling location on the beach
• The Maltsters Arms, Tuckenhay, a riverside pub - previously Keith Floyd’s. Quayside BBQ in the summer is nice. A good pub
• The Ferry Boat Inn, Dittisham - Pink. Full of character. A traditional community pub
• The Cricket Inn, Beesands - really strong local reputation. Pub and restaurant
• Soar Mill Cove Hotel - a unique location and environmentally designed hotel. Only had cream tea here, but awesome.
